Happy Tuesday, everyone! I have a little bit of an unconventional post today, but that’s because I have so many fun book review and writing related posts coming up. 🙂 I’m giving you a little glimpse into my personal life with this post and some things that I’ve really been enjoying this summer!
Books:
A Love Most Fatal by Kath Richards has become one of my new all-time favorite books EVER! I absolutely plan on giving a full review on the blog in the near future, so keep an eye out for that! In the meantime, if mafia rom-com sounds like your jam, give it a try!
If This Gets Out by Sophie Gonzales and Cale Dietrich was the queer boy band romance story I never knew I needed. I buddy-read this with a friend and had an absolute blast!
Music:
“This Song” and “Vodka Cranberry” by Conan Gray have been an obsession lately. I listened to “Vodka Cranberry” on loop for a full three hour writing session and it was amazing!
“Sex, Drugs, Etc” by Beach Weather just has such a vibe to it, idk man.
“Ghost of Chicago” by Noah Floersch is such a fun song and is appropriate for one of my WIPs!
“Suburbs” by Good Neighbours is also an incredible vibe, highly recommend giving it a listen.
Shows/Movies:
Queer Ultimatum season 2 – WHAT A RIDE. Buddy-watched this with my partner and our friend, and it was such an experience.
Heartstopper – I finally finished the last season and am waiting in anticipation for the movie, gah! Pretty sure I ugly-cried every single episode of the final season, phew. Can’t wait to rewatch!
Activities:
Playing DnD with friends
Taking the girls to the local splash pad
Finding GORGEOUS art at our local farmer’s market
Coffee shop writing days since editing work is really light this month, in particular
